Description
The audio guru is back with a bunch of audio and video toys for your bidding pleasure. We have a tremendous number of items going up for auction this week, and this is the best of them all.  Wilson Audio introduced the Watt in 1987, followed by the woofer section dubbed the Puppy, in 1989.  It was an instantaneous hit, and remains so in the latest version today.  It is the single most successful over $10,000 loudspeaker ever built and it remains the best sounding in its class too.  This pair is from about 1998 or so, a series III WATT in WilsonGloss Diamond Black that has a newer Wilson Audio Series Five tweeter replacing the original Series III kevlar for a much sweeter while still extended top end.  The Puppy II is as shipped, with new surrounds professionally installed on the woofers very recently.  New diffraction pads were installed on both the WATT and the Puppy last year and the newer style clothe grilles were put on to replace the foam ones.  There are the expected swirl marks from dusting and a few minor nicks or scratches, but the important thing is that they play perfectly and sound BETTER than new.  These are what they are and if you are familiar with the product there will be no surprises.  We also have a full set of the original crates, so getting them shipped safely will NOT be a problem.  UPS does have a surcharge for both OS and non-cardboard boxes, so the actual freight cost might and probably will be more than the quote inside the listing!  Don't forget to use the quote only as a GUIDE and to multiply by four!We can and probably will ship this item via United Parcel Service (UPS), but no USPS, postal service or mail.  All items shipped UPS are insured for the value at auction close.  Truck freight might be less expensive and you can arrange for that and get prices on your own, but they MUST pickup in Scottsdale, AZ 85251.  The freight calculator will only give you the cost of ONE (1) crate, multiply by four (4) to get a more accurate price idea.As always, you will determine the value of this item, the open is low and you can have some fun bidding on it and maybe get a bargain! The Fine Print, please read it, the terms might be important.  Please read all the way to the end because that is where the updates are posted. We only accept Money orders, or cashiers checks, and PayPal.  We do not accept any other electronic payments or credit cards.  We do not accept personal checks for any item.  All Sales Are Final and items are sold “As Is and Shown.”  Call 480)946-8128 12-6 MST, or email (eainc1017@qwest.net) with questions before bidding.  Email is NOT replied to on Sunday and Monday.  Invoices are sent on Tuesday after the sale closes.  Please be patient, it will come.  Payment must be received within 14 (fourteen!) days of invoice date or item will be re-listed with Negative Feedback Posted, and a Non-Performance complaint filed with Ebay!  No Excuses!  Don’t bid if you can’t pay!  If your computer crashes all the time, print the description of the item and CALL!  Repeat: There are no excuses to not start closing procedure in 3 (three) days and conclude the transaction in 14 (fourteen) days! Items under 1# shipped USPS Priority mail normally for $6.50 or so Postage & Handling.  We do NOT mail any other items!  Insurance is recommended on all items at extra cost.  We are not responsible for damage or loss after shipment.  All other items, basically those that are Heavy, large or expensive, are shipped by UPS and rate is calculated at auction end.  We often include the item weight if available in description so you can estimate shipping charges.  The eBay freight calculator asks us for the weight and size of the box and the origination zip code.  The calculator in the listing is based on posted UPS rate charts.  We don’t set the rates, so don’t complain to me about how much it will cost to ship your new toy.  Double boxing is HIGHLY recommended and usually runs $12-15 EXTRA for most A/V gear.  Remember, Shipping, Handling and Insurance is not included in sales price on any item.  International bidders take note: Make shipping and payment arrangements BEFORE bidding!  We reserve the right to cancel international bids if there are too many hassles involved in shipping! We do NOT ship international by postal service (USPS), please don't ask us to make an exception for YOU.  ALL International shipments must be double boxed and the eBay freight calculator will reflect this additional expense.  On Aug-16-08 at 17:05:03 PDT, seller added the following information:I may have neglected to mention that this is for a pair of speakers, not a single, but only one shows in the pictures.  And the Vandersteen 1C on the left is not included either...
